Book Expo of America (BEA)

The "excuse" to visit New York City for the 1st time in my life:

Ran into this group first thing in my wandering through the Javits Center. I'm not sure what book they were advertising, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter. (BEA has a little bit of EVERYTING for EVERYONE)
Hey Sammy look who I ran into! OLIVIA
Dear Sweet Shannon Hale gave me a hug (ever the professional when it comes to stalker fans)
Is that Molly Ringwall? YEP....squee
and the Beautiful yet blurry Jane Seymor
I'm going to get to know this adventurous author Rachel Eddey author of "Running of the Bride"
Jane O'Conner of Fancy Nancy fame
the loot, loot, and more loot from the convention (it was all I could carry or I would have picked up more)

Update on the Utley Kids

I can't believe how long it's been since I've even looked at our family blog. Fisher I'm so sorry. you are almost 18 months now and I have done nothing to document your life here on earth. (Hopefully Grandma is scrapbooking all your cuteness).
Anyway I'm not going to write a long this is where we've been blah blah post, stinkin Facebook let's me cheat and give snippits here and there so I feel like I'm documenting something of our life. When really I'm not.
I'm just going to post this cute picture and go to bed.
I have work tomorrow and a trip to New York City in three days which means I have laundry and housework on my mind.

My little star:
Sammy just wanted to say Hi before she said her lines

Having a good time teasing with the Tweedles
Dancing the running man at the Mad Tea Party

Grand Finale and all pooped out.

Did I mention she had a loose tooth during the ENTIRE performance?
